minnmac Posted June 23, 2009 #1 Posted June 23, 2009 This past saturday me and Renate participated in the Patriot Guard,s annual fundraiser. Last year they had about 1,000 bikes but this year the unofficial total was close to 2,500. it was big enough that our governor, Tim Pawlenty, made an appearance and speech . It was a great day for a ride, especially when you get to run red lights while cars wait for you to pass. How long they waited i have no idea but i couldn,t see the front or rear of the column. Here are some pics of a great event and even better cause.
Yama Mama Posted June 23, 2009 #2 Posted June 23, 2009 That looks like it was a wonderful event to attend. Thank you for sharing your photos. YamaMama:hurts:
usnmustang Posted June 23, 2009 #3 Posted June 23, 2009 Great pics and it looks like you all had a good time. Thank you for sharing the pics. 2,500 bikes must have been quite a sight to see.
silverdeer0454 Posted June 23, 2009 #5 Posted June 23, 2009 Great photos! Wish we could do more of that around here. I hope to have plenty of pictures for the Moving Wall escort here in Washington on July 8th.
juggler Posted June 23, 2009 #6 Posted June 23, 2009 Just where was the fundraiser held? In MN of course. http://thepatriotride.org
