Condor Posted June 19, 2009 #1 Posted June 19, 2009 I received a flyer in the mail yesterday, and when I got around to reading it this AM I found a new item they're stocking... Wireless Inspection Camera with 2.4" Color LCD Monitor http://www.harborfreight.com/cpi/gifs/clear.gif I've been looking for one of these things for a while now, but the price has always kept me from buying one. This one's on sale for $99 bucks, and I'm going to make a trip to HF later this morning.. I can see it being one of the most helpfull pieces of equipment for checking out problems on a MC that I could own. There are a bunch of nooks and crannys on a scoot to that are just plain hard to get to without removing something or standing on my head, and this thing is going to make life so much easier. I figure if I didn't diagnose things myself... never happen... but if it did, I'd be paying a wrench around $75 bucks an hour to chase down a problem ... For the price it'll pay for itself after using it a couple of times..

RedRocket Posted June 19, 2009 #4 Posted June 19, 2009 Try this one, though it shows a price of $ 139 http://www.harborfreight.com/cpi/ctaf/displayitem.taf?Itemnumber=66550
Condor Posted June 19, 2009 Author #5 Posted June 19, 2009 I called to verify it was in stock so's not to make a dry run over there and it shows locally on sale for $99 bucks. Maybe it's not a national thing??? Thanks for posting a working link....
Condor Posted June 19, 2009 Author #6 Posted June 19, 2009 (edited) OK bought one. I'm impressed. The unit is not a cheap build. LCD Monitor screen is sharp and clear with adjustable brightness, contrast, and orientation.. Lens and flex-line are very stout with adjustable brightness LED's. Monitor is rechargable, and the pistol control takes 4 AA's. Comes with 3 tools.. hook, mirror, and magnet that attach to the lens end. IT also has a remote video cord to attach the thing to a larger monitor. Life is looking up.... As soon as the monitor gets thru charging it's off to the '91 to locate that @#$#$%$ oil leak. I am sure a couple of members would be happy to stop by and help you clean out (oops I mean clean up) the garage. LOL!!! Brian
