Question about fitting

Does any of the many wise folks here know if a luggage rack from an 1986 would fit m pn my 1984? I am considering the one on eBay listed here

To answer your question about fitting, it should...

My 86 rack has 1300 V on it and my 84 rack has 1200 V on it.Other than that they look the same,in my eyes.

I have an 86 rack on my 85 and it fits fine but I had to drill my own holes.

 

If you have existing holes I am not sure if the bolt pattern wouldbe the same.
