Download manual for 1983 xvz 1200?

Nub here again. While waiting on parts to arrive,I'm just kinda walking around my bike,looking,,thinking,wondering. I:think:have read in some forums that maybe I could download a manual for my bike somewhere on this site.Can anyone put me on this?I have simple questions like, What's the little knob beside the ignition switch for? Oil levels,fluid levels, ect. Thanks...Nub

The little knob is a cover for the schrader valve to the front forks. It's where you add/remove the air.
