My front forks have an annoying squeak in them. This seems to be constant, every up and down motion produces this squeak. Can't hear it when I'm riding (the CHIRP drowns it out!) but when getting on or off, or particularly when working on the bike...every movement seems to produce the squeak.

Aren't the forks supposedly filled with oil? Why would they be squeaking like this? Any ideas?

My forks did the same thing.

I squirted them down with WD-40 over 15 months ago and have not heard a squeek since then.

Boomer.....who hates squeeky mice too.

Do you treat them the same way? :stickpoke: :rotf:

WD-40 is too expensive to waste on them meeses. The wife makes me set mice traps for them now.

Boomer.......who really enjoyed plinking them little suckers with his .44 Mag but hated patching the holes in the floor.:crying:

WD40 is too expensive??? :confused24: How much are the .44 Mag. shells? :whistling: If they're cheaper than WD40 maybe he should just give his forks a shot of those!! :Bunny:
