Chuckles Posted June 11, 2009 #1 Posted June 11, 2009 I have been working on getting my '89 rebuilt and on the hiway. The problem I have is the tach and lights on the dash have quit working. Could it be one of the relays under the dash or do I have a bigger problem? Engine seems to run fine but the tach, volt meter and lights. Any help would be appreciated. Chuckles
MiCarl Posted June 11, 2009 #2 Posted June 11, 2009 The following are all powered through the SIGNAL fuse: Neutral light Brake lights Horn Tachometer Voltmeter Temp gauge If none of them are working I'd look at the fuse. If I recall correctly there are 3 connectors at the instrument panel, 2 plug into the CMS and the third is on a pigtail and carries all the other stuff. You didn't forget to plug it in did you? Finally, if everything else is ok check for +12V on the Brown wire the instrument panel plugs into (key on). If you've got 12V there the problem is somewhere in the panel
