usnmustang Posted June 10, 2009 #2 Posted June 10, 2009 Harbor Frieght, WOLO air horn. They have several types, one just like the Stebel in black or chrome. Cheaper than Stebel. Have 2 on my RSTD, both work great.

Bucky Thompson Not to second guess you or anything, but there isn't a short is there? Or undersized wire? It sounds like it isn't getting enough power...?
FreezyRider Posted June 10, 2009 #4 Posted June 10, 2009 Is your horn running through a relay? If so, my bet would be a faulty relay that isn't passing 12V to the horn. You could hook 12v directly to the connectors on the horn to check this theory. If it works fine when directly connected to a 12v supply, then it's probably the relay. Have also heard that occasionally the Stebel/Wolo horns (which, according to what I've read are the exact same horn with a different label) may need to be cleaned out as they can accumulate road dirt and then not operate correctly. Hope this helps. Joe
