I want to install a toggle swith to bypass the ign switch for emergencies. I know where to hook up.... My question is. What Amp Toggle switch do I need? Will a 10amp be large enough?

Thanks for the help

I used a 50 amp but that was all I could get they had 10 amps but I did not think it was big enough. Didn't want to burn up that switch as well.

As V7 mentioned 30 should be enough

IF you bypass the headlamp and passing or driving lamps you have installed so they do not come on, which is illegal in most areas so I am NOT recommending it, you can probably use a 10 amp switch if you also bypass or disconnect the carburetor heaters.

OR if you use a large enough relay, you can use a small switch that will pass just enough current to power the relay...... say one or two amps.
