what headsets to look for?????????????

Ok, my question is simple,I think. I am presently using a VOX modular helmet and will soon be going to a gmax modular helmet. Do I need a specific type of headset or will any work for both helmets. I am also not sure if I kneed a headset for a 3/4 helmet, full face helmet or what. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Hello Painterman67. Any current headset should work with your new gmax helmet. J&M, Chatter Box etc. make their units so they will fit a wide choice of helmets. I currently have Chatter Box headsets in my Shoei Modular and they tuck up inside nicely. You will need to order the 3/4 helmet style mic. The unit will mount on the side of the helmet and the mic boom will tuck up under the flip up portion of the helmet.

check out the IMC headsets,Just got two sets ,very nice (IMHS35U) 65.00 bucs complete and they sound-work GREAT. You can get them through--- Sierra-mc.com they have a TWO yr warrenty. They will work with full or half face. Ed:thumbsup:

I got my J&M headsets from Sierra Electronics and they work great. Got the ones that came with the cable to plug into the bike. 80 bucks a piece.. :thumbsup2:
