Trying to clean up my work areas and back yard I realized just how many good 1st gen parts I still have on hand. The 84 XVZ1200 parts bike is oly about 25 % disassembled and I still have most of an 87 XVZ1300 motor and a bunch of misc. stuff.

Just a reminder, if you are looking for 1st gen parts send me a PM and let me know what you need. Chances are good I'll probably have it. They are going cheap cause I need to clear my space.

Thanks

Question, is you bike running yet ????? :stirthepot:

George, Bike is running great Last week weekend did a 200 mile N. Ga. Mountain run Carbs seemed to straighten out a little and averaged about 37 miles per gallon a lot better then it was at 20 mpg. Float adjustment, diaphram needle mod, new spark plugs, Seafoam gas and Oil treatment made an marked improvement.

I snagged a good final drive pumpkin from lonestarmedic (old one is working but iffy with worn splines on inner hub so I'm changing it out) and a new set of factory fork seals off ebay. Pumpkin swap and fork seals is next weeks project before N. Ga. M& E

Dragonslayer,

Not quite sure how to do a PM, however would you happen to have antenna mount/s or misc accessories that would fit an 86??

Need pressure switch mounted on the rear of the valve assembly above the rear fender for the CLASS system. If this doesn't work then I will probably need a controller. I keep getting the E4 code. Also need antenna for am/fm/cb. Also need left side cover vent assembley.

there's a fix for the E4 error posted at http://www.venturerider.org/forum/showthread.php?t=493 . May want to try this first. I've been getting it on my '86, but I've found that if I tip the panel up like I'm trying to get to the puke tank, it puts some tension on the wires and actually lets me air up the suspension.
