Snaggletooth Posted June 6, 2009 #4 Posted June 6, 2009 Now that is WAY better than a webcam! I feel like Big Brother.
6pak Posted June 6, 2009 #5 Posted June 6, 2009 I just looked at my home address and theres stuff in the yard in the pic that is not there right now. I don't think it's a real time photo.
Squeeze Posted June 6, 2009 Author #6 Posted June 6, 2009 No, it isn't real Time ... sad, but true, but nevertheless, I'm amazed about how clear the Satellite Pics are, free for everybody over the Internet ...
Dragonslayer Posted June 6, 2009 #7 Posted June 6, 2009 I just looked at my home address and theres stuff in the yard in the pic that is not there right now. I don't think it's a real time photo. I'll say, I looked at my address and there is a red truck parked in front of my house that belonged to my downstairs tenant. He died in his bed two years ago. He quit driving and got rid of the truck two years before that. Fiqured photo was at least four years old.
Squeeze Posted June 6, 2009 Author #8 Posted June 6, 2009 The normal, flat View is different than the Bird's Eye View. That's IF that available for your Area.
loehring Posted June 6, 2009 #10 Posted June 6, 2009 I think the pictures are public domain. Google Earth has the same one. Same time of year with the same cars in the drive in the same places. It lists the image date as March of 2006. It is cool that we can see so much detail though.
Squeeze Posted June 6, 2009 Author #11 Posted June 6, 2009 Where do you find the Date of the Picture?
Hummingbird Posted June 6, 2009 #12 Posted June 6, 2009 If the pic would have been taken about 3 hours ago there would be way over a hundred bikes in the picture. right now it's 5:08 PM 6/06/09
MiCarl Posted June 7, 2009 #13 Posted June 7, 2009 If the pic would have been taken about 3 hours ago there would be way over a hundred bikes in the picture. right now it's 5:08 PM 6/06/09 The count at 1:30 was 107 I think.
Pappa Bear Posted June 7, 2009 #14 Posted June 7, 2009 That is a good pic of the layout, when I got there there was so many bikes lining the drive I was not parked to far fromthe road!
loehring Posted June 7, 2009 #15 Posted June 7, 2009 Where do you find the Date of the Picture? When you have the location pictured you click on the little clock icon. That gives you historical data on that location. Have a look at the bottom left of the picture and you'll see an image date. (This is for Google Earth)
