Well I just got my new Barron slip on mufflers yesterday. I was wondering if there is anything I need to watch out for or is it very straight forward. Oh yeah, do I need to remove the saddle bags or can they be installed with them on.

Thanks

I have Baron 4-2-4s and I love them. There is a bolt on top of the pipes that attaches to a brace just under the saddle bags. I always take them off so I can get to the bolt easily. I don't know if you can do it with the bags on. I've never tried.

I have the same pipes. Slid right on, tightened the clamps and I was done. No leaks and no use of silicon. Mine are very loud and I just packed them today. Much better as far as noise.

What did you pack them with?? And did you just fill the opening in the baffle??

The baffling looks like housing insulation on my previous bike with Vance & Hines. Just guessing it is housing insulation. Probably could buy some and wrap some tape around to keep it in place.
