Scary Motorcycle Crash

News reports indicate the motorcycle rider was looking at a previous crash and listening to an IPod. Still waiting for word as to his condition after this scary accident.

Wow - looked like he was clipping along pretty well when he hit that ambulance. Also, looked like he was in the wrong lane ???? hindsite is 20/20? Hope they are OK - gotta look where you want to go.

They say he was going 45 - 50 mph and he was in the carpool lane. Still haven't heard his condition. Bike looks like something other than a crotch rocket.

Distractions will kill you faster than anything else. Just a momentary lapse is sometimes all it takes. Please be safe all. Pay attention. (I'm talking to myself as well.)

Whenever I am driving or riding in the area of an accident, I look EVERYWHERE but at the accident. Since I am likely to be the ONLY one not looking at it, I want to know who else is going to crash like that guy.

 

Too bad. But gawking will get you sooner or later. I would rather miss seeing the aftermath than become the subject of a video like that.
