sgn Posted June 2, 2009 #26 Posted June 2, 2009 My Dad had his hip done in what was then Coweta General by Dr. Arrowsmith. If you need an ortho doc he is one supper nice guy and one heck of a doctor. I think he is now practicing in Peachtree City - office between PTC and Fayetteville last time I saw him. Steve
SteveW Posted June 2, 2009 #27 Posted June 2, 2009 You will really like it in a month or so and glad you did it. I had mine replaced 6 mo,'s ago and should have had it done years ago. No pain and like it was when I was in my 20's. Just make sure you do your rehab. Take it easy for awhile and you will do fine. Steve

Got to come home today:banana: but Im not dancing in the street yet:rotfl: so far no real bad pain but they have me on oxycodine 1 pill every 4 hrs and it seems to keep the pain away and not cloud my mind. wish I was up at MD but I needed this for along time. Doc says I may be able to ride bike by ralley time but Im not gonna push it. So everyone have fun at Dons and be safe. Thanks again John
