Sleeperhawks Mechanic Posted May 30, 2009 #1 Posted May 30, 2009 ADC bought Wanderer's Kawasakiand since we had a garage, it was stored at our garage. ADC and family came to Columbia this weekend to pick up the bike. Wanderer had left his bike in our garage for the last week while in Alabama, so Sleeperhawk enjoyed having the garage full of bikes! :happy65: So we had an impromptu meet and eat here at our house! It was great seeing ADC and Wanderer was able to meet another great member of our Venture family!
RandyR Posted May 30, 2009 #2 Posted May 30, 2009 So how did Georgia get left out of this event... ??? Btw, a beautiful friday and saturday here too, sunny and warm, but not too hot yet. I rode back to Pooles in Ellijay for some more of the Col's ribs. yum. Two wheel scoots of all sorts on the road today.
Sleeperhawks Mechanic Posted May 30, 2009 Author #3 Posted May 30, 2009 We didn't have anyone from Georgia here! Colonel Poole's ribs sound so good right now! Trying to figure out how to take the time to get there! But.... we are riding to Franklin, Tennessee in the morning to meet up with George's parents who are on their way here from Russell, Kansas! They are in East Chattanooga tonite. We believe that Wanderer might up riding up there with us! It has been a beautiful day here as well, but the heat is on already!
mini-muffin Posted May 30, 2009 #4 Posted May 30, 2009 That bike looks good on Arthur. Glad you all had nice weather. Thanks for the pics Bobbie. Have a safe trip meeting up with George's folks and back, we'll miss you going to MD with us this year. Heck the weather is looking like it won't be near as hot as last year. Enjoy you're visit from George's folks. Margaret

The Voyager is a great bike,we got along just fine going home today, very comfy,no monkey butt after 6hrs or so of riding, plenty of get up and go.My 1st gen is still here but she needs some work, gas mileage is getting bad and 2nd gear is starting to act up,I hope to fix the ole gal up a little and keep her.
muffinman Posted May 31, 2009 #8 Posted May 31, 2009 Arthur I waited for you to bring the new bike over so we could go for a ride but maybe you are just a little tired from riding the Cow all day. Keep it away from Beer or it may be covered in leather and look like a real cow. Glad you got to get it and was able to take the family with ya as well. See ya soon Jeff
