rjjammer Posted May 29, 2009 #1 Posted May 29, 2009 (edited) Just wanted to thank everyone that has submitted posts on repairs and problems with thier first generation VR. I have never used a forum before so this is all new.The articles helped to shake off the dust on my mechanical skills and the 86 is running fine. The poor thing sat for 4 years while I was overseas, and had developed major brake and carb issues. I am currently in the process of painting it and have all good platic ready for preping, unfortunately I am again going over the pond and I doubt it will get finished this year. I have a 1983 Venture Standard minus the plastic and carbs does anyone need anything off of it? rjjammer Edited May 29, 2009 by rjjammer spelling
DragonRider Posted May 29, 2009 #2 Posted May 29, 2009 Do you still have the radio and the cb............might know someone whos is interested in one or both. I know you said it was a standard, but some added the radios after purchase......someone did that to mine, it was a standard but had the radio and cb.
