RandyCH Posted August 28, 2007 #1 Posted August 28, 2007 Check out my bike lift!Works good, but it cost a little more than a Sears one! Also check out the reason for the lift, that being an Avon rear tire with about 16000 miles on it!This was too close for comfort,we had just been on a trip out west a couple weeks before. So it's maintainance time for me this week.
Eck Posted August 28, 2007 #2 Posted August 28, 2007 Sure looks strong enough, but I bet it would be kind of tough to work on the drivers side though...
cbmel Posted August 28, 2007 #3 Posted August 28, 2007 "Too close for comfort"?? I think you passed that about 3,000 miles ago!
GeorgeS Posted August 28, 2007 #4 Posted August 28, 2007 Cut a cross section out of the old tire, and post a close up. I would like to see how much rubber is left after the tread worn off !! Thanks !!
fixit3546 Posted August 28, 2007 #5 Posted August 28, 2007 That's nothing, you should see the one i just took off. it's in another post. Cool lift. does harbour freight sell that model??:rotf:
Guest Vermincelli Posted August 28, 2007 #6 Posted August 28, 2007 That's much better than the overhead crane I use. You can move the bike around the shop.
Dano Posted August 28, 2007 #7 Posted August 28, 2007 Crane is nice, Harbor Freight lift better, but they can't go out in the back yard and play like this one!!! I'm jealous!!! Dan
Grandpagak Posted August 30, 2007 #8 Posted August 30, 2007 randy, that thing might come in handy at the pork in the pines rally..lol:smile11:
