BIG TOM Posted May 29, 2009 #1 Posted May 29, 2009 From Dons MD, a bunch of us will be spending the next week traveling PA. The idea is to leave Dons and travel to Pauxitony for a short stop then on toward Gettysburg, Lancaster, and then north toward Scranton to rt 6 and west back toward Western NY..Is 322 a good road to travel..maybe to 219 or 58 to rt 30.....Need suggestions for good routes to follow...its time for me to plan our direction...help would be greatly appreciated.............
ddoggma Posted May 29, 2009 #2 Posted May 29, 2009 RT322 is very nice up by State College. You will run into some stop and go as you head into Lancaster area.
bongobobny Posted May 29, 2009 #3 Posted May 29, 2009 219 is lots of fun with lotsa nice curves. We enjoyed it last year going down to Asheville...
BoomerCPO Posted May 29, 2009 #4 Posted May 29, 2009 PA is nice riding country! If you get the chance to visit with the Amish it will make your trip so much better. Boomer.....who hopes ya shoot that damn groundhog in Pauxitony if ya can get a clear shot at him.
