hairman Posted May 26, 2009 Posted May 26, 2009 The cable that hooks to your Garmin 2720 so that you can hear it thru your speakers, is it still available and if so what is it called? They have discontinued this type so I didn't know if it is still available. How exactly does it work? I have the cable already mounted to the back of the radio in the flaring. I was planning on buying the 2820 but if you can purchase a cable for the 2720 then I will just buy it instead because it is cheaper.
BIG TOM Posted May 27, 2009 Posted May 27, 2009 (edited) I think you are talking about the motorcycle wireing harness..contact Paul Robbins at garmin.. 1 800 800 1020 ext 5934...part no...010-10495-02...he's a biker and loves to talk bikes..sent me mine .....FREE..... give him a call..ps I didn't even buy mine from GARNIN and he knew that....great guy:fnd_(16): ps you will want to add an in line switch...this way ,if you touch the connector to the handlebars..you won't blow your fuse....someone told me about that.....I used a led toggle (radio shack) mounted behind my seat...WORKS GREAT.... RoadKill Posted May 27, 2009 Posted May 27, 2009 Also look on www.getfeetwet.com They carry quite a bit of the discontinued/refurbished. I just got my SP 2730 there and I know they had the power kits also for mine and others.
