RCyrPE Posted August 27, 2007 #1 Posted August 27, 2007 I just installed the Khrome Werks slip on mufflers on my '05 Venture and am quite happy with the sound. The only thing that concerns me is that when shifting into second or third gear on acceleration there is a "pop" if the revs are taken up a bit too high. Will this cause any problems? If so, what can I do about it?
Riderduke Posted August 27, 2007 #2 Posted August 27, 2007 get your cards sync done. i'm sure there is a member that lives in a state around you that has a carbtune. mine did the same thing until Muffinman did his thing. haven't had a problem since.
BradT Posted August 28, 2007 #3 Posted August 28, 2007 Others PLug the AIS System, which solves the problem. I did not plug mine but when it starts backfiring I know it is time for the carb tune. Check the tech section as there is a right up on how to do this. Brad
