Dragonslayer Posted May 23, 2009 #1 Posted May 23, 2009 (edited) This is not bike related but I wanted to let anyone who might be interested know that I put my Classic 1965 Chevy C-10 Pick-up truck on ebay for a quick sell to raise cash. This truck has the popular and classic short bed stepside body style with the small rear window which makes it the most popular and collectible body style for the 1965 year model. You can see the auction by following the link below. Sorry the link did not work or I don't know how to post the link correctly but the item number is 330332649886 Edited May 23, 2009 by Dragonslayer link did not work
RedRider Posted May 23, 2009 #2 Posted May 23, 2009 That is a beautiful truck. We had a '65 GMC as a work truck and you just couldn't kill it (we tried). It would start in the coldest weather - even when it was so cold the cars in the attached garage wouldn't start - minus 25F or so. However, it was never the looker this pu is. Nice work. Is that an antifreeze bottle for an overflow? RR
skydoc_17 Posted May 23, 2009 #3 Posted May 23, 2009 Hey Bob, Thats a really nice truck you have there, I hope you get every penny you want for it. :thumbsup2:Would you mind me asking what the reserve is on that baby? Earl

Not factory original but it works.

EarlI probably shouldn't say, but, since it was met by the first bidder I quess it doesn't matter. Reserve was $3,000
Kregerdoodle Posted May 24, 2009 #8 Posted May 24, 2009 3K ??? dang you should get between 8 - 10 K for that easy... very nice, wish I had the cash, and sorry you are needing to sell it.. Good luck!! I probably shouldn't say, but, since it was met by the first bidder I quess it doesn't matter. Reserve was $3,000
Freebird Posted May 24, 2009 #9 Posted May 24, 2009 VERY nice. I love the old trucks. I had a beautiful one several years ago. Mine was a short bed fleetside but I loved it. Wish I had some good pictures because this one just doesn't do it justice.

I've been sprucing her up getting it ready to sell and regretting it more and more having to sell her. Her departure is inevitable now since the first bidder met the reserve. This truck will be a super deal for someone since I have over $18,000 in it and forced to sell. It's not a good economy for getting what a collector vehicle is actually worth.
