Keyless Gas Cap

Has anyone found a keyless gas cap that will work on a RSV?

Sorry to interrupt, but I remembered yesterday to check the two screws on the ubder side of my gas cap. Sure enough, they needed tightening. Advise all to check theirs.

 

Now, I would be interested in one of the caps if found. Keep us informed.

I have the flush mount one made by Kuryakyn on my 05 TD. If you go to www.jpcycles.com and click on the gas tank section a sub heading with the caps and gauges comes up, a bunch of different styles there. Hope this helps.

Thanks for the reply. Did you have to glue the outer ring on to the tank? I wonder if the outer ring will fit in the curve of the switch cover on the Venture?

No problem, I had to glue the outer ring and if your Venture is a 2nd gen it should fit ok. I have had it on my TD since June of 05 without any issues.

I would LOVE to have a different cap. - Why on earth do I need a key lock cap on my 07 Venture - I can't believe anyone would steal my gas

Mike : Here's a link to one, don't have any specifically of the cap, but this one will let you see what it looks like on the tank.

I don't think those are pop up caps. Fitment says for HD
