Yesterday, and they had a consigned 2006 xv1900 Stradoliner sitting on the floor with tons of add-on$. What a beast...., but I like it. :thumbsup2: I think the owner had to have been smoking something when he...or she?... congered up the asking price of $18,500. Did a little research on them and the price was way over the market. Does anybody own one, or have ridden one maybe?? With 1900 cc's I wonder what the MPG would be??

Condor, my Nephew bought a brand new 1st year model and WOW - what a machine!! He has since added a lot of stuff (yea he's normal) like quick connect shield, Stang seating, light bar - just added different pipes and bought the programmer for redoing the mapping.. I bet gained 15 horse from the combo - didnt need it but hokey smokes does it fly now!!!

I have spent lots of time on it and gotta say that I have been VERY impressed with the bikes handling, extreme electric power like pull and now, its sound - it sounds AWESOME!!

He paid 16 for his (I think its 3 years old now if memory serves me correctly) and I have since seen brand new left overs here in Michigan for 13,500.. He did buy the Strat "S" model though, little more chrome and stuff in the right places..

While I surely wouldnt give that guy 18 for it I ABSOULUTLY would advise grabbing one if you were so inclined - I would if I could afford it!!

If you wanna talk to someone who ownes one, rides it alot and knows the machine well I can hook you up with him anytime!!

A dealer here has had an '06 sitting on their floor since they got it. Asking $17,995 bone stock. No test rides allowed and nobody is interested. After all this time you think they would deal on the price to move the thing. I'd love to know how it rides out.

I Own one , and thats my only bike now. they are good, but not comfortable as Ventures.

Yamaha did really good homework with those bikes. and some cool innovations. 50 /50 % weight distribution on front and rear wheel, 2 spark plugs per cylinder, servo motor in exaust so it throaty when you want and quite when crusing. they use 6qt of oil and 3 drain plugs. As usualy yama doing they have stock brickstones tires last only 6K miles.

And yes they have whooom in 5th gear (some kind of whine)

oh yea, seems like his mileage was in the 45/50 range, will ask him today when I see him and find out how accurate that is..

I know its right up being Injected and all..
