Guest tx2sturgis Posted May 22, 2009 #15 Posted May 22, 2009 Thanks to everyone who tuned in...i had a total of 49 listeners tuned in over a 12 hour period...not all at once of course...but not bad. The stream is off as of 1300 CDT. Hey Annie, a virtual machine is when you run 2 operating systems, like Mac and Windows, on the same computer. The virtual machine, the secondary operating system in other words, was grabbing some of the network ports and IPs...so anyway, I got that resolved and it seems to be working now. Thanks again!!
Guest tx2sturgis Posted May 22, 2009 #17 Posted May 22, 2009 Still testing it...yeah, im gonna hook up the mic...

Guest tx2sturgis Posted May 22, 2009 #24 Posted May 22, 2009 Hey it works well, it took about 20 secs to load initially but no drops or warble in the music , Clapton sounded good....as usual. Brian Thats probably a setting in your media player buffering defaults. More buffering takes longer to start, but plays smoother, especially during high internet traffic and congestion. I have the settings on this end set for mono, 16K, less (buy still ok) quality/CPU usage, which means its set to use the least resources at my end and the users end. Thanks for the report!
