I was wondering if anyone has an Idea on the best way to make a pole to fly a flag from the trailer hitch on my Tour deluxe.. I have the bracket made but need to know what would hold up as the pole. Dont want it bending and dragging behind me..

PVC pipe works well.

I use PVC with a wood dowel down the center. I know some others who have used extendable painters poles and put a nice cap on the top. Either will work.

What size of flag do you want to display?

 

How many flags will you be flying?

 

What is the MAXIMUM relative wind speed you will experience with the flag/s flying?

 

Relative wind speed is the vector summation of the vehicle vector and the true wind vector.

Plan is to fly just one regular sized flag. Nothing special.. Really dont plan on high speed runs with a flag flapping behind me..

What do you mean by a regular size flag?

 

I have a flag that I use regularly, it is 40 feet by 60 feet....
