hairman Posted May 19, 2009 #1 Posted May 19, 2009 My 1999 RSV started missing the other day. I checked the plugs and I ran seafoam thru it. I checked the spark at the plugs. The fuel pump isn't clicking. It has been doing this ever since it started missing. Is there a fuse that goes to it and if so where is it located? Where is the relay to it and how do you check it? thanks tim
hairman Posted May 19, 2009 Author #2 Posted May 19, 2009 I'm not getting any power to the fuel pump. I hooked the wire from the battery to the fuel pump and it would run. It either has to be a fuse or the relay. The bike runs good about 35 to 40mph, but after that it starts to miss.
mini-muffin Posted May 20, 2009 #3 Posted May 20, 2009 Try the relay under the battery otherwise could be the ignition switch. Margaret
