tufftom4 Posted May 19, 2009 #1 Posted May 19, 2009 Well I go for my MRI today to see if I need surgery on my right shoulder I think my summer riding is over.I pray that I will be able to ride back to the Blue Ridge Parkway Labor day week.
Freebird Posted May 19, 2009 #2 Posted May 19, 2009 Hope the tests come back with good news but getting the problem corrected will probably save you a lot of grief and pain in the future. We will keep you in our prayers.
Snarley Bill Posted May 19, 2009 #7 Posted May 19, 2009 praying you have a great outcome on your surgery. bill
Cerviperus Posted May 19, 2009 #8 Posted May 19, 2009 Good luck! I go for an MRI on my knee on Thursday to see if I have torn cartilage. If it's conclusive, they may do one on my other knee as well. No older than I am, I've had problems with both of them for several years. Hopefully if I have to have surgery, it'll be of the non-invasive variety and I'll be back in the saddle in a matter of days.
Dexx Posted May 20, 2009 #9 Posted May 20, 2009 Can I join the club? I have to go for an MRI wednesday evening. Tore my bicep tendon at work the other day. Sounds like I won't be riding for at least 6 weeks
Aussie Annie Posted May 20, 2009 #10 Posted May 20, 2009 GOOD LUCK EVERYBODY TO ALL WHO ARE HAVING AN MRI--BEST OF LUCK AND HOPE YOU ARE ALL BACK RIDING SOON:happy65::happy65:

RandyR Posted May 20, 2009 #13 Posted May 20, 2009 Had MRI on my rt shoulder 2 years ago and had to have surgery to repair some torn cartilage. Was on light duty for almost a year and no MC riding. If they operate, make sure you go to a physical therapist for a program of progressive exercises to build it back up slowly,
