SLOW HAND Posted June 7, 2009 #55 Posted June 7, 2009 Put me down for a set , Looks like you will be safe to buy 2 sheets soon . "if you build it they will come" I was riding under an overpass when my left deflecter hit me in the leg at first I thought someone tossed a plastic bottle or something overthe side . Seems the left ones go first . These might just shame me into finaly polishing the rest of the crome , we'll see. I work in a steel plant with a C.N.C. burner , but to get it programed in and get the material I'd have to go UP FRONT & talk (bribe) to people I try not to talk to. Thanks for saving me the headache . Be ready for more orders when these hit the street.
1BigDog Posted June 7, 2009 Author #56 Posted June 7, 2009 Another Update: My friend with the machine was called into work today so looks like production will come to a halt for at least a week. When this project started he was out of work for a while and about the time he finished my set along came a great job offer. Unfortunately it calls for 12 hr days. So, were shooting for next weekend to start. So sorry for the delays...hang in there, you wont be disappointed!!
hale374 Posted June 7, 2009 #58 Posted June 7, 2009 Ruffy, put me in for a set as well. Thanks. Chris

Aussie Annie Posted June 8, 2009 #61 Posted June 8, 2009 Ruffy, Thanks for the heads-up on the postage
Tartan Terror Posted June 8, 2009 #62 Posted June 8, 2009 Hey Ruffy. I did my bike in a fire truck theme. Can these be made in a diamond plate aluminum?
1BigDog Posted June 8, 2009 Author #63 Posted June 8, 2009 My friend came by with another mock up set today, made with thin aluminum to see how the new designed mounting bracket would look. Looks good to me. The holes to mount will be elongated for some side to side adjustments. My friend is just trying to get his hours reduced at work so he can start the cutting.
Jdix Posted June 8, 2009 #64 Posted June 8, 2009 Please add my name to the list for a set, with thanks. Jdix
1BigDog Posted June 8, 2009 Author #65 Posted June 8, 2009 Please add my name to the list for a set, with thanks. Jdix Got you down, John......thanks!
1BigDog Posted June 19, 2009 Author #66 Posted June 19, 2009 Another update: We finally figured out the problem. Some of the bearings on the machine were worn slightly but enough to mess up the straight cuts. New bearings are on order and everything should be up and running by next Thursday. My friend is taking some time off from work to finish this project. He apologizes that this has dragged on for so long. Soon.............real soon.......
Uturn Posted June 19, 2009 #67 Posted June 19, 2009 Ruffy, Can I get another set added to my order? This will make me ordering two sets vice one. Let me know if this is ok… Thanks MIKE aka Uturn 757-404-3333
