Sorry.. I'm not gonna make it.. I live in VA now.. I used to live in Belleville IL, and rode out there a few times to the dealer.. Can't remember the name, but did the appreciation day once... Was looking at the wings and thinking on it.. took me 5 years to decide to get a dressed ride.. went with the venture.. .. that would have been about 5 years ago.. .

Copilot is the GM of a restaurant now so Im going to the food show at McCormick place today. I'll try to make the trip next year. Don't forget to take a little ride on Rt. 66 while you are there.

just got back from litchfield. never saw so many bikes. must have been over a thousand. unbelivable crowd. star motorcycles was there with all thier demo bikes, including 2 v-maxes. thought about riding one, but they had a waiting list. the ride up and back was lousy. 30 mph cross winds all the way. think i will skip this one next year. always windy,and last year it was raining along with it. not my favorite ride. great turn out and they know how to do it right.

Sorry to have missed you there. I got there about 9:30 & left @ 11:30. Yes there were a LOT of bikes and several from far away. Lots of vendors to get in your pocket. And yes the wind & weather were not making for enjoyable riding. Hope you at least got a free dounut. See ya @ MD

kept looking for the top hat, you must have left right after i got there. no donut but i helped a nice lady replenish the coffee. them coffee pots are heavy when they are full. lol.

Good seeing down there Bill. Yeah the wind was a little strong and it was kind of a nasty overcast day. But hey it was a nice ride, not perfect, but nice. You just had to pay attention to where the bike was headed. LOL.

linda and i went to hannibal today, about 250 miles round trip. she went to the indian store. a cheap trip turned into an expensive one. glad jane was'nt with her i would be in the poor house. lindas got this turqouis hang up, and i just can't say no. anyway the weather was great and i am rode out for the weekend. can't remember if i put the kickstand down on the wing or not. i just don't have the energy to go out in the garage and look. who cares. bill

Jared and I made it to Litchfield yesterday. Boy they were really low on Vendors this year. Talked to some folks and they said alot that had signed up just didn't show. It was a beautiful day. Saw my phone late yesterday that Old Hippy and Nance had left a message they were there, but Jared and I were already on the road, wished we had met up. Seems I haven't seen them forever and we only live 40 miles apart

Wish we could have met up too. There wasn't as much there as usual. We'll have to get together some Saturday and maybe get Russ to join us. If nothing else we'll be at Don's.
