Dragonslayer Posted May 11, 2009 Share #1 Posted May 11, 2009 (edited) What is this part, where does it go, what does it do and is it important or not. During the most recent carb maintenance this weekend, the magnet picked this up from inside the center of the v In between the cylinder heads. It seems like I have seen it before but for the life of me I can't remember where it goes. MasterGuns Posted May 11, 2009 Share #3 Posted May 11, 2009 Been a while since I disassembled the choke handle, but for some reason I seem to remember something in there that looked like that. Could be wrong but.....
gscbertrand Posted May 11, 2009 Share #4 Posted May 11, 2009 That is a spring type lock washer the usually has a tapered head screw. They are used in some bearing locking brackets on the side of the engine cases.
SilvrT Posted May 11, 2009 Share #5 Posted May 11, 2009 pic is a little blurry so it looks like it could be the blades out of an electric razor (the circular head kind).
