Freebird Posted May 10, 2009 #1 Posted May 10, 2009 Folks, I have a large tent that I am more than willing to set up if anybody wants to camp here for Maintenance Day. If anybody wants to share it that's fine also. This thing is about the size of a Holiday Inn. Actually, it will sleep 4-6 people comfortably. I'm going to let the first person who responds to this thread use it and then it is up to that person if they will be able to share it or not. Do NOT send me a PM about it, I want it to be completely transparent so the first person who responds gets to use it. I will have it setup by the pond before you get here. Feel free to use it Friday and Saturday night if you plan to stay that long.
Freebird Posted May 10, 2009 Author #2 Posted May 10, 2009 Here's a picture of the tent from a camping trip we took last fall.

juggler Posted May 11, 2009 #13 Posted May 11, 2009 Here's a picture of the tent from a camping trip we took last fall. Heck that tent is even bigger than ours and anyone that was at Pork in the Pines last year can attest that our tent is huge!
Bubber Posted May 11, 2009 #15 Posted May 11, 2009 Heck that tent is even bigger than ours and anyone that was at Pork in the Pines last year can attest that our tent is huge! I can tell you first hand Juggler's tent has a lobby, and each room has a closet. Yet sorry to say it does not have a wine tasting facility YET! I hear rumors that it will be sporting a smokers lounge this year. LOL I only have one question how do I sneak away for 4 days to go to MD at Don's and what do I tell the Misses when I get back. I once told her I bought a bike by accident (twice) but not sure that will fly this time. Heck how long could she be mad?????? Still thinking about it. Bubber
DragonRider Posted May 11, 2009 #16 Posted May 11, 2009 I will be getting there Fri. afternoon............not sure what time, hopefully before dark.............Thanks a bunch Don. You got it my friend. It will be up and waiting your arrival. When do you plan to be here?

ToRide1 Posted May 11, 2009 #18 Posted May 11, 2009 I'm not planing on going this year but we have a big tent and it would require we use the pickup truck to transport it. This tent while not the biggest is heavy! 85 pounds + the bag that holds the poles, Made in 1963 sears & roebuck canvas tent it sleeps 9 we had as many as 12 in it but no room for anything else, also have large canvas a dining fly from Montgomery Wards also circa 1964. Camp gear we have.
RandyR Posted May 14, 2009 #19 Posted May 14, 2009 Changed my mind. I'm bringing my own tent. But could use some of that wine when I get there to relieve the miseries.
