Snarley Bill Posted May 17, 2009 Author #26 Posted May 17, 2009 (edited) plan on riding up with you,could come up a day early,spend the nite,bout 350 mls from here,i fix a mean bowl of gravy,egges,toast ANY ONE WANT TO SHAIR A ROOM hey la., i just made reservations for a room saturday night. not sure if it has two beds or not. if it has two beds your welcome to the other bed. i sure ain't going to sleep with you in the same bed. randy said they had 16 rooms left so we should be able to get a room with two beds. we will work out something we will both have a roof over our head. i would'nt let one of my best buddies stay out in the rain. bill Edited May 18, 2009 by Snarley Bill

Dog Patch USA used to be the name, Now its "The HUB" so yes that is the one you want. 8mi south of Harrison on hwy7. My GPS still shows it to be Dog Patch USA. Buddy

buddy Posted May 18, 2009 #34 Posted May 18, 2009 Looks like we may be a little later than I thought. The dealer does not open untill 12 noon instead of 10am Saturday so that puts us in at the Hub around 4-430pm. At least we will be there for supper and talk after wards... Buddy

gunboat Posted May 19, 2009 #40 Posted May 19, 2009 hi bill read your post, got ya. just talked to randal at the hub. says they are all book up. i have a room with a king bed, was going to change it for a room with double beds. now that sarah is coming with me. she's 14 & is to old to sleep in the same bed with the old man anymore. besides she's all over the bed at night anyway, likey to wake yp with a knee in the ribs. so if anyone would like to change rooms. i would be willing to switch. looking forward to seeing everyone saturday. best reguards don c.

gunboat Posted May 19, 2009 #43 Posted May 19, 2009 hi michael sorry your not going to make it, was looking forward to seeing you again. thanks for the hub room info. called the hub at 5:45 pm and left a message about your room. thanks a lot for the heads up. sarah will survive no matter what. we shared a bed at the texas stampeed in athens last year. but might have frooze kabay, he shared the room with us. 'cause i had turned the a/c down a bit. woke up middle of the night could have hug meat in there. everything will work out. hopefully we will see you again at the '09 rally. best reguards don c.

I even recruited another Venture riding preacher to come with me. BUT I got a call today that my elderly (91 yrs old) mother is in the hospital in Alabama. Obviously I'll be there this weekend instead of at the Hub. Maybe next time Lynn
