The wife is now riding with me and complains she has no place to lock her helmet.

I could use a helmet lock with out key I have a locksmith that Will re key for $7.50. If you have one you can part with let me know.

My last scoot didn't have helmet locks so I used a cable lock that came with one of my pistols.

They look like a regular padlock, but have a rubber coated cable instead of a the usual non-flexible steel. Worked great & didn't scratch.

Also, JC Whitney, & others, sell fitted 7/8 or 1" helmet locks cheap enough.

A bicycle padlock will also work just as well.

 

 

The gun lock was actually easier than fumbling around under the trunk, like I do on my 86 VR.

If you need a pistol/gun lock let me know, I have a couple spares running around you can have for postage. Seems my new bride isn't into buying any new weapons soon so I think it's safe to part with one :stickinouttounge::rotf::rotf:Let me know. Ride safe and God Bless, Mike
