painterman67 Posted May 2, 2009 #1 Posted May 2, 2009 I've been looking for a while on the net and local dealors and the like. I can't seem to find what I'm looking for. I've seen these lights in pics on here but cant remember who had them. It was on a trailer and that is what I want them for. they are shaped like a directional arrow and appeared to be flush mount. If anyone could point me in a direction of where to find these I would be greatfull. I found one on ebay sold individually at $43 plus shipind and handling. That would be too much for a pair. Any help would be greatly apreciated. David
Schlepporello Posted May 2, 2009 #2 Posted May 2, 2009 The only ones I've seen have been the really expensive type that are used on tractor-trailer rigs. And you'd have to cut a long oval hole and use a rubber boot to hold them in the hole.
craigatcsi Posted May 2, 2009 #3 Posted May 2, 2009 Check J&P cycles. I was browsing a catalog at work this morning and was surprised how many different LEDs they sell. craigr
mini-muffin Posted May 2, 2009 #4 Posted May 2, 2009 Muffinman has them on his trailer. I'll ask where he got them and how much and let you know. Margaret

Guest tx2sturgis Posted May 2, 2009 #6 Posted May 2, 2009 A lot of the new cars have those built in to the outside rear view mirrors now...I wonder if a person could buy just the replacements, and not the whole mirror...might be interesting to find out.
buddy Posted May 2, 2009 #8 Posted May 2, 2009 Here is the photo of the led arrows from Denniskirk.com
Guest tx2sturgis Posted May 2, 2009 #9 Posted May 2, 2009 Hey buddy, I dont think those are flush mounts...but they would work if hes looking for surface mounts...ya never know.
barend Posted May 2, 2009 #10 Posted May 2, 2009 I've seen the chevron shaped led's at autozone, stick on I think.
painterman67 Posted May 2, 2009 Author #11 Posted May 2, 2009 thanks buddy, Thats just about exactly what I was looking for. I,ve got 6 inch ovals for brake and running lights and I think those will go great just outside of the ovals. David
