Pricing for Detachable Tour Pak

i have finally priced my bracket - powder coated black is $199.00 + shipping................chrome plated is $325.00 + shipping. i am about two weeks away from being able to ship.

Buz - I definitely think you hit a grand slam with this one. The pricing seems very fair to me - and something I think MANY RSTD owners would be and have expressed interest in. Very clean - great job.

As mentioned in my PM earlier tonight, please put me down for one of your black brackets and let me know when and how you want payment as soon as it is available. I have also ordered the black tour pack (without that yellow dot) from Justin at tohptrading@gmail.com His price on the large gloss black ABS trunk with large chrome top rack, two key lock, and double seat back cushion is $144.00 plus $45.00 shipping to Canada via USPS air with tracking. So my total outlay for a detachable tour pack will be less than $600.00 CDN. Not bad!

 

FYI, I found that other site that sells a tour pack bracket for the RSTD and some very expensive (and heavy) fibreglass tour packs. Their bracket is $269.00 but it is not a quick detachable arrangement. It looks like it is meant to permanently replace the original detachable bracket assembly. When you add up the cost of their bracket and a tour pack with all the trimmings, your into about a thousand bucks. Here is their link if you want to check out the competition: www.scootworks.com
