jimmyenglish Posted May 1, 2009 #1 Posted May 1, 2009 Hey everyone. Great forum! I'm shopping for headsets for my wife and I. I've been looking at the J&M 279's (we both have modulars. I've also been intrigued by the bluetooth headsets. I love the idea of being able to use my phone, however, I would like to tie into the onboard system as well. I ride solo a lot on several different bikes. Is there a bluetooth headset that also integrates with the onboard intercom and my wifes hardwired heaset? Thanks!
slick97spirit Posted May 1, 2009 #2 Posted May 1, 2009 Not sure about integration, but my brother and his wife have blue tooth headsets and loves em.

I'm Using wired headsets and have a Zumo 550 GPS (which has Bluetooth) and the adapter cable so I can use my Bluetooth phone. The only oddity is that the passenger can hear both sides of the conversation but cannot be heard by the person at the other end of the call.
Freebird Posted May 2, 2009 #5 Posted May 2, 2009 I know that Sierra lists a bluetooth adapter that I think does what you are asking but I haven't ever used one. You might give them a call. They can tell you exactly what it does and if it will work for you. They are great people. http://www.sierra-mc.com
