Bigfoot Posted April 28, 2009 #1 Posted April 28, 2009 (edited) So when it comes to synching the carbs is this something that needs to be done on a routine basis or when a problem occurs? I've the the 04 RSV I purchased in 06 and have never had it done. I don't have any problems with the way it's running but with my long trip coming up I'm wondering if I should have it done. Eck Posted April 28, 2009 #2 Posted April 28, 2009 I did mine at the beginning of each summer just for that warm comfy feeling that I could make it through the summer with no problems.. I bought a carb tune and it works sufficient to do the job every year.
Phaedrus Posted April 28, 2009 #3 Posted April 28, 2009 (edited) I do mine every oil change. It seems to stay pretty close, but when you have the tool it only takes a minute to check it. If you want to adjust then it takes only a few more minutes. Edited April 28, 2009 by Phaedrus stupid
