FROG MAN Posted April 28, 2009 #1 Posted April 28, 2009 :95:It's plan and simple folks. This is b/s and getting old fast. I'm still waiting for the first ride of the year. 3 or 4 days of rain coming and that creek is still up. I'm not sure if I can get the scoot out to make maint day if this keeps up. I'm calling Lowes to day to get a price on materials for a 12x16 shed to build at the camp. If I'm going to load the scoots up on the 16 ft trailer and haul them out it will only be one time. Any body else still waiting on the first ride of the year with the AC running?Might have a free camping spot for a shed raising party.
Marcarl Posted April 28, 2009 #2 Posted April 28, 2009 Maybe you should change your screen name to sailor.
Venturous Randy Posted April 28, 2009 #5 Posted April 28, 2009 How does that saying go, "No man is an island", except Frogman. RandyA
Monty Posted April 28, 2009 #6 Posted April 28, 2009 Do they make pontoons, or outriggers for Ventures?
Dragonslayer Posted April 28, 2009 #7 Posted April 28, 2009 How does that saying go, "No man is an island", except Frogman. RandyA Translated into latin that is: Nuis Homo Est Insula, except Frogman
halfwitt Posted April 28, 2009 #8 Posted April 28, 2009 Take a rod (a shephards crook should do) and strike the ground with it. The waters should part. At least, they did for Moses. You might need a pillar of fire though. I'm not sure.
Ozark Posted April 28, 2009 #9 Posted April 28, 2009 Can't understand why a guy named "Frog Man" has a problem with a little water. Don't wait too long for that 1st ride though. Our forcast is for 10 days of rain and it will then be going your way. Supposed to be high and dry here just in time for Snarley Bill's M & E.
friesman Posted April 28, 2009 #10 Posted April 28, 2009 Do they make pontoons, or outriggers for Ventures? It Depends, Were you asking about the G1 or G2 venture? Brian
mini-muffin Posted April 28, 2009 #11 Posted April 28, 2009 I say go for it. Then you and Ramona can have some fun and not wait for the waters to leave. Margaret
FROG MAN Posted May 3, 2009 Author #12 Posted May 3, 2009 I'm going to buy a 10x14 metal building for now.Two first gens will fit in there nicely. The building will be installed on 4x4 wooden skids. That way I can relocate it to the back lot later for a ATV,Chainsaw, etc storage building. Then a permanent bigger garage can go there .Forecast for next 3 days is rain. I told Ramona we may take her truck to Maint Day.
