I was looking at JCWhitney and found these highway boards http://www.jcwhitney.com/Floorboards/GP_2002565_N_111+10211+600014704_10111.jcw?currentRecordCount=12

the live chat lady claims that the horizontal mount for the bracket is due to bracket design??? That seems like a bunch of compost. Anybody seen these, use these or have an opinion on? And yes they be pricey!! I am looking to mount something like this on the vertical support for the engine guard since that would allow for better angling and will provide the requisite offset to clear the fairing and still be able to plant your feet. ('course cheaper would be nice)

Thanks.

I have some similar ones from Showchrome. slightly different design, with longer offset arms. I had gotten them for my '90 Goldwing and never could get them adjusted where I liked them (it's just awkward on that bike), so I took them off a couple of days ago and put the Marklands back on.

They're virtually brand new. They were $290 or there abouts, as I recall. Haven't put an ad together yet. If you have any interest, send me an email and I'll shoot some pics and send you. Then, if you want 'em, we can talk $.

I can tell you that everything I've seen or bought from Showchrome has been 1st quality stuff. No junk. The chrome plating is great and the basic design, structure and workmanship are as good as you'll get anywhere! Very impressive. Of course that is reflected in their prices, too!

I've mounted my pegs on the verticle tube with an offset. Kuryakyns. Gives me more room to stretch out.

60 bucks delievered what a deal, but they are alum. somewhat polished. got mine yesterday put them on 10 minutes age (about 20 minutes to install, would have been easier w/ a set of ball allens) feels like they'll be secure and stay in place. I'll ride w/ them tonite when I go to work. pic in my gallery. beats the 200+ that "k" wants

BTW you won't need any more room to strech (sp) out with these I'm near 6' and they're just fine

that was an alternative but Id need en extension or offset to make them work (see Condor's pic) and whitney says they do not come with a different mounting bracket.
