awsmsrv Posted April 26, 2009 Share #1 Posted April 26, 2009 I just installed this, BUT... How do you tighten the 1/2" nut that sits behind the air nut? I don't have a wrench thin enough to do this. Any suggestions? Thanks.
Cougar Posted April 26, 2009 Share #2 Posted April 26, 2009 Freebird did this a while back, I am sure he will chime in on this in a bit.. hang tight ! I just looked at his install , but it does not say anything about how he tightened them up. I think I will be doing this soon as well. Hulk Posted April 26, 2009 Share #3 Posted April 26, 2009 Hey guys, I came across the same problem. Ended up taking a left over tool from another project, grinding it down on the one side and ...done nice and tight!
Cougar Posted April 27, 2009 Share #4 Posted April 27, 2009 Nice,,. that would be the kind of thing I would do as well. what size is that wrench you modified? It would be 1/2 inch ! I guess *lol* looking up at the start of the thread.
Hulk Posted April 27, 2009 Share #5 Posted April 27, 2009 1/2 do believe, keep it in the tool bag just in case.
dragerman Posted April 27, 2009 Share #6 Posted April 27, 2009 You can usually pick up a wrench like that from anywhere that sells parts for bicycles.

Freebird Posted April 27, 2009 Share #8 Posted April 27, 2009 WOW...it was about 9 years ago that I did that little job. I really don't remember but I know that I made something in my toolbox work. Did buy or make anything special.
