Fork Air Balance Kit

I just installed this, BUT...

 

How do you tighten the 1/2" nut that sits behind the air nut? I don't have a wrench thin enough to do this. Any suggestions? Thanks.

Freebird did this a while back, I am sure he will chime

in on this in a bit.. hang tight !

 

I just looked at his install , but it does not say

anything about how he tightened them up.

 

I think I will be doing this soon as well.

Hey guys, I came across the same problem. Ended up taking a left over tool from another project, grinding it down on the one side and ...done nice and tight!

what size is that wrench you modified? It would be 1/2 inch ! I guess *lol*

1/2 do believe, keep it in the tool bag just in case.

You can usually pick up a wrench like that from anywhere that sells parts for bicycles.

WOW...it was about 9 years ago that I did that little job. I really don't remember but I know that I made something in my toolbox work. Did buy or make anything special.
