muffler supplier for 86 Venture Royale

I need a set of mufflers for my 86 Venture Royale. The Yamaha mufflers are very expensive. Where can I buy suitable after market mufflers. I am in Canada with an 82 cent dollar and would like to find a lower cost alternative to the Yamaha hardware.

Sometimes some pretty good looking stock mufflers show up on Ebay. Occasionally some Jardines will show up and that is what I have, and love them.

I just put a set of Jardines on mine and I have the stock mufflers which are in very good condition, I just wanted something a bit louder. If you want I can send you some pics of the mufflers or you can see them in my gallery on my bike and as i said they are in great shape. Let me know what they are worth to you and I am sure we can work something out. Just shoot me a pm or an email and I can send you some pics of the mufflers.

Road Kings are an easy install.

 

i bought a pair off ebay for real cheap. then i bought a couple of 15 degree adapter pipes from Canadian Tire, clamped all together. i made a couple of brackets out of some flat metal stock to support them, bolted them to one of the bottom saddlebag mounts and that was it.

 

they are slightly louder than stock when on the throttle hard and have a nice note when riding normally.

 

i love em.
