frmarksiegelhotmail.com Posted April 23, 2009 #1 Posted April 23, 2009 Hi All, New to this forum, but loving it so far. I'm vertically challenged (5' 7") and I'm getting tired of not being able to see over the top of my windshield and going crazy trying to see through it the rain. So, I'm getting ready to buy a new windshield for 07 RSV and was wondering a couple of things. What brand do you recommend? What is the best way to determine the correct size for me.
frmarksiegelhotmail.com Posted April 23, 2009 Author #3 Posted April 23, 2009 I think that I would like to hold on to the stock one and add the new one. "Two heads are better than one" kind of thing.
1BigDog Posted April 23, 2009 #4 Posted April 23, 2009 Check out www.clearviewshields.com They offer a great product along with several different heights.
frmarksiegelhotmail.com Posted April 23, 2009 Author #5 Posted April 23, 2009 I'll check out their website soon. Thanks so much for the help.
Bobby G Posted April 24, 2009 #6 Posted April 24, 2009 I got a Show Chrome shield, and love it. It's 4" wider at the bottom, and 3" shorter. Great line of sight, and good wind deflection. No buffeting at all. Comes in clear and smoke tint.
frmarksiegelhotmail.com Posted April 24, 2009 Author #7 Posted April 24, 2009 Bobby G, do you happen to have a part number for that windshield?

KiteSquid Posted April 24, 2009 #9 Posted April 24, 2009 It helps sometimes to have a wax like coating on the windshiled so the water beads up in the rain. HOWEVER it might not work well in mist. I use RejeX on my windshiled, chrome and painted parts of my bike. Also on my face shield and eye glasses. I use it on my cages too. GREAT STUFF!!!!!!! Click HERE for a review at WebBike World A freind of mine uses AceIT and Ill probaally try it when I run out of RejeX
