Stealer told me that it is a symptom of the clutch fluid being cool. It has higher viscosity, so it is a bit grabby. I don't know if it is true, but I sometimes get that myself on the first start of the day, but never after that.

Does the engage point change when it warms up??

The only ride I had was two miles to the store and two miles back. I'll report back after more seat time.

IMHO the Stealer is blowing smoke, you know where!!!

The clutch fluid is just DOT3 or DOT4 brake fluid. Temp and viscosity have nothing to do with it, at today's temps. If the clutch engages just off the grip, I'm thinking you still have some air in the line. Getting ALL the air out can be a PITA.

Sounds pretty much like you got some Air still trapped in the Line.

The Clutch Upgrade (replacing the half Disc with a full size Disc and let the Wire plus the two Steel Discs out) does nothing big to the biting Point of the Clutch in Relation to the Clutch Lever Travel. What is does indeed is, you have a fuzzy, chattering Feeling on the Lever right before reaching the Biting Point. But usually you'll get used to this new Feeling soon. I only notice it since one of Rides(the '09) doesn't do that.

I installed Speed Bleeders and pumped a lot of clean fluid out. I wouldn't think there are bubbles. And don't bubbles give you a spongy feeling? This is a very solid lock.

Assuming that everything has been installed and torqued properly during the clutch rebuild or upgrade, I think there is nothing wrong with your clutch. Perhaps ride your bike more and put a few miles on the odo and see how it feels after that. It could be just a new learning curve we have to get used to the friction zone after a fluid replacement.
