yesterday i bought my dad a new workbench and being the thoughtful son that i am i went to clean out the area in the garage where we were going to put it. it was early in the morning so i rolled my rsv out of the garage door and proceeded to sweep and so on i finished up and as i went to put my bike back in the gagrage and with it being early i decided to push it back in (it has a nice rumble and didnt want to disturbe the niebors) as i leaned forward my fat little belly hit the opener and down came the door right on the windshield doing the best i could i put my head under the door to make it go back up. the shield was cracked and broke the plastic piece that covers the windshield bolts.... no way to start your day !!!!:confused24:

Bad one Grasshopper. I saw one on E-Bay for 2nd gen not long ago. Not sure if it is still there. I'll look. Can plastic be glued? If it is clean break get ABS pipe glue and do it carefully you can save some pieces and it holds great.

That sux!! Second one of those I've heard in a week.

Most people around here have sensors at the bottom of the doorway, that won't let a door close if there is an obstruction. You might wanna get some of those.
