Cowling Question

I'm thinking about trying to put a Venture cowling on my 2005 Royal Star Tour Delux. Anyone know if it will fit. If so where could I find one uesd . Also on some on these threads I see a map of the USA looks like you can mark the States that you have been to. How do I get one??

Hey Pops the RSV fairing is alot more complicated than it looks... there's metal framework in there and the headlight is different and I think it would be way too much work... You're better off buying an aftermarket Batwing (Harley style) fairing and get a sound system with it and some will even use the windshield mounts you already have...

Yeah I've checked these out. I'm not sure I want the "Harley" look. I get enough razzing about riding a Yamaha already. It will just give them more ammo. Although it seems that every time we travel any distance they always brake down. My '05 Tour Delux has 32500 and has never left me standing by the side of the road. Thanks for the infro.

Pops, maybe its me but, it looks like the yamaha fairing sets lower and would do a better job of deflecting the air away from the fuel tank than the aftermarket HD fairings.

You will need to go to the "Member's Control Panel" and make a signature, then add it to it.
