Spring Ride in the Finger Lakes N.Y.

I just want to thank Big Tom, Spanky and their friends, Don, Darrell and Debra,my brother Al and his son Marc for joining Rawhide and me here in the Finger Lakes for a day of riding and eating and more riding.(and more eating).

 

This was a little preview of what we hope to do this August here in New York and hope plenty decide to come.We had a great day. I learned I need to slow down a little so people can enjoy the sights a bit more.( Damn 1st.gen, just goes too fast). We missed a few member we would have like to have had here but maybe next time guys and gals. PB&J.Phil.

Thanks, Phil for inviting us down...It was great fun...except for the spit ball war at the restaurant..shame on you RAWHIDE...we all had a great time..good to meet your brother face to face....one more member I can put a face to now.......the ride was great...the weather even better...the company superb.....and as far as slowing down......not to worry..I didn't mind running my 2nd gen in first gear all day.....although, I guess I did miss that waterfall someone said we passed...?????????.......If your ever on that road again keep a look out for my left lens that blew out of my sunglasses..damn ..just imagine what I could have lost if I ever got up into second gear.............oh yea ...........thanks for the ICE CREAM stop..........................ps don't tell Taters about that...still on the program ..you know...:fnd_(16):

Hey Tom I told Bob you offered me a nice set of Metric Box end wrench you said you aquired somewhere. I also told him you tried to sell me a set of metric screw drivers. He told me there are no such a thing!

It was the first long ride of the new season and was a lot of fun...too bad taters was not feeling better but there will be lots more...the weather was beautiful, the company grand and a good day to be in the saddle so to say...and the ice cream, oh so good...........

as an addendum....the seat that rick butler modified was very comfortable and i recommend his work to anyone looking for a more enjoyable ride, at a great price, and quick on the turnaround.

Sorry I missed all that fun...BIG Tom called me to invite me and my child bride but unfortunately I had to work that day. Hopefully I can make the next one!
