I'd be willing to give that a shot. I've been buffing old sights down with very fine wet & dry paper then give them a coat of super glue and let it dry. An improvement..... but not like new.

I am still leaning towards the idea of backing the hole with a pc of plastic then filling hole with epoxy and epoxy a dime or nickel over it. I dont need a sight glass. I dont have a problem taking out 2 screws to check if need be.I have to spend my money on new Diaphrams and things that are more important

Finally got around to seeing if this $300.00 84 Royale has a clutch or not. Both sightglass on clutch and brake were broke through and had no fluid in them. Rather than forking over $50.00 or more for new used masters I took cold weld epoxy, backed the inside of hole with some tape and filled it up and ran a little on outside edge and clamped a nickel over the epoxy hole. Gravity bled the clutch,I have a lever and the clutch seems to work,on the center stand. No leaks.
