Utopia Driver Backrest

Hey Guys,

 

Will a Utopia backrest for a RSV not work on a RSTD? I just assumed that since they both have the same frame design and basic seat fitment, that they mounted the same. However in looking at their installation information, it appears that the backrest attaches to the bottom of the passenger seat.

 

I think I may have advised someone wrongly, so I need some info fast.

My Utopia attaches under the Drivers seat. The Diamond R attaches to the 2 forward boalts on the passanger seat.

I installed a utopia backrest today and it installed between the frame and the rear fender on my 06 RSTD.
