GolfVenture Posted April 1, 2013 #26 Posted April 1, 2013 I had 2 Guardian Bells on when I had my accident back in June of 2012. I was the only rider at that time and only one bell got damaged.
Condor Posted April 1, 2013 #27 Posted April 1, 2013 Okay, what chance have I got way over here in Australia :confused07: I got friends', but no Venturerider ones over here. At least I know why things haven't gone too good since 2007 (accident) it's the bl***y gremlins !!!! Maybe I need a bucket full of bells. I love the consept of the bell--well done people:happy65: ________________________________________________________________________ never ride faster than your guardian angel:2133:can fly Annie!!! How soon we forget. You have a bell. Remember Cody??
Prairiehammer Posted April 1, 2013 #28 Posted April 1, 2013 I too lost my VR guardian bell last year. I had mounted it to the lowest engine guard bolt through the key ring. And like others have found the constant movement of the pewter bell on the steel key ring wore through the soft pewter eye-ring. Aaron Straka gave me his bell from his 'Wing trike. When I got home I sent him my spare VR bell. I revised the mounting of the replacement bell by using a nylon zip-tie to secure the pewter eye to the steel key ring instead of having the pewter in direct contact with the key ring. It still moves and rings, but it has shown no further wear to the bell eye nor to the zip-tie.
